6 month contract
Durham, NC {LOCALS}
$50/hr
Work as a developer on delivering java projects
Understand business requirements and functionality that needs to be
developed
Interact with Business, Project and Quality Assurance Teams and deliver the
application on Time and meeting the Technical specifications and code
standard
Handling day to day management of development planning, co-ordination,
reporting, work allocation and task assignment to Solution Engineering
resources involving all development tasks
Key java resource responsible for delivery of the solution
Develop solutions with defined technologies and standards
Work as an effective team member
Escalate development related issues to ensure proper action is taken
Qualifications:
BS / BA in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or Mathematics.
Minimum 3+ years of IT experience
Technical Knowledge:
BS, 3-7 years of experience
Object oriented design methodologies and patterns
Java, J2EE
Standard MVC frameworks (e.g. Struts, Hibernate)
XML and XSL related technologies
Knowledge about current JAVA trends (e.g. JSF, JPA etc.)
WLI, WLS servers
Messaging technologies
Enterprise architecture and portal technologies
Understanding databases (Oracle, SQLServer etc) and data aggregation
technologies
Experience with service oriented (SOA), integration technologies and
application standards
Conversant of structured and process oriented development/implementation
methodologies
Business Knowledge:
General knowledge of financial industry equities, fixed income, options
Knowledge of Private Banking domain - advisory process, wealth management
strategies a plus
