Job Overview: We are looking for Java Developers having good experience with Java/J2EE Development with Capital Markets. Position: SAP ABAP Developer Location: Houston, TX Duration: 6 months Job Description Experienced ABAP Developer to participate on SAP coding efforts on a major system upgrade / replacement project. . Interfaces with the process teams & development lead to code the solution (enhancements, reports, interfaces and data conversions). This includes creation of programs in SAP's proprietary language - ABAP, configuration, QA, unit testing, creation and promotion of transports to acceptance and production, liaison with BATCH and BASIS and Process/Project teams . Reviews and implements OSS notes . Develops technical design & construction documentation The individual in this position will work as a member of a global team - a high degree of working hour flexibility along with time-zone awareness and consideration for cultural differences is required. Professional Skill Requirements . Experience working as a team member or lead of at least two major SAP upgrade or implementation projects, including participation in integration testing and support of user acceptance testing . 5 years experience developing in SAP ABAP Languages & using SAP Workbench . 3 years experience developing or supporting Purchase-to-Pay and Plant Maintenance modules . 2 years experience with ALE/IDOC/RFC system services . 2 years experience with SapScript, Smartforms . 2 years experience developing Authorization Checks . 2 years experience with Dialog Programming, User Exits & Transport Workbench (Transport requests) . Knowledge of methods, processes, and techniques for delivering new or enhanced functionality. Experience with OSS Notes Implementation / Core code changes. . Working knowledge of other SAP Technology - expected to understand the end-to-end technical SAP solution including impact to support teams (Basis, Batch).
