Description/Requirements:
Perform monitoring, security patching, monitoring and privilege access
functions required by Federal Banking Regulations and SOX, resolve audit
issues, improve security controls and automation of current processes in
accordance with IT Security Best Practices.
Candidate will provide system management capabilities to create, automate,
or enhance processes and tools in order to improve the overall security,
availability, and management of the UNIX server landscape.
Must have in-depth technical knowledge and expertise to interpret IT
governance and best practice guidelines and translate into system
configuration settings and procedures.
Required skills include expert knowledge and in-depth experience in one or
more of the following operating systems:
System Administration Solaris Red Hat Linux HP-UX AIX System and Security
Administration Writing security plans Root cause analysis Log analysis and
event correlation Server Security and Design Shell Scripting System
Performance Analysis High Availability Volume Management with Veritas, HP
LVM, or equiv Experience using security Tools such as: BoKS Powerbroker
Vintella Authentication Services (VAS)
System Engineering and Development expertise in: Perl PHP Ruby C Java VMware
ESX Apache
Development Repositories and Version Control Database Administration and
Support expertise in: MySQL Database design and architecture Replication
