Job Description:
· Codes and constructs software elements.
· Performs requirements determination and analysis.
· Prepares application designs for the software application.
· Investigates and resolve design ambiguity.
· Participates in Work Product Reviews.
· Mentors more junior development staff.
· Estimates effort and duration for tasks related to software
elements.
· Reports progress of assigned tasks.
· Creates system and user documentation as required.
· Follows documented change control procedures.
· Assures the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of deliverables.
· Ensures defects found in products are logged, monitored, fixed and
reported complete.
· Communicates any issues, concerns, or problems with the project to
the Project Manager for resolution.
· Performs assigned activities to implement the project according to
defined requirements.
· Coordinates and communicates the review of all unit tests.
· Creates unit/system/integration test plans and cases for software
elements.
· Conducts system/integration testing.
· Ensures test results are communicated and documented according to
standards.
· Provides after hours application support as negotiated with the
Group Manager.
· Attends scheduled project status meetings.
