Position: Storage Migration SME
Location: Burbank, CA
Length: 3-6 months w/option for additional
time
Start Date: ASAP
Rate: Hourly rate plus expenses
Overview:
Client is migrating off LSI Storage arrays to HDS AMS SAN arrays. they want
to use Quatum software- Stornext file system. The candidate needs to have
SME exp/architecture exp- has to scope and put plan of attack together. 400
TB of data to migrate.
must have Stornext file systems software ( file sharing) going from 150
servers to 18.
Requirements:
1. Must have 5-7 years of Storage experience. DOES NOT NEED TO HAVE HDS
PLATFORM EXPERIENCE.
. Data Migration
. Stornext file systems software HDP
2. Perform necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance
with internal best practices.
3. Participate in the execution of the business continuance and disaster
recovery plans.
4. Participate in the design and operational execution of the customer's
storage disaster recovery process.
5. Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the
organization.
6. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective
communicator
7. Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this
project
