Position: Storage Migration SME w/ Stornext SW and Does not need to have Hitachi experience. Location: Burbank, CA Length: 3-6 months w/option for additional time Start Date: ASAP Rate: Market plus expenses *Overview:* Client is migrating off LSI Storage arrays to HDS AMS SAN arrays. They want to use Quatum software- Stornext file system. The candidate needs to have SME exp/architecture exp- has to scope and put plan of attack together. 400 TB of data to migrate. *Skills:* -Must have 5-7 years of Storage experience. DOES NOT NEED TO HAVE HDS PLATFORM EXPERIENCE. -Data Migration -must have Stornext file systems software (file sharing) going from 150 servers to 18. -Stornext file systems software HDP -Perform necessary storage infrastructure maintenance in accordance with internal best practices. -Participate in the execution of the business continuance and disaster recovery plans. -Participate in the design and operational execution of the customer's storage disaster recovery process. -Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization. -Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator -Good writing skills and ability to multi task in the support of this project -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
