Response Time: Immediate Requirement: Title: System Administrator Position: 1 Duration: 7+ months Location: Chicago, IL Interview: Direct F2F Description: Assist in Lotus Domino Messaging and Collaboration teams in DC II project areas combined in supporting existing SMEs in order to keep the lights on activities to enable them to deliver on critical DC II project activities. Primary responsibilities will be 1st shift but availability to work nights or weekends as required is a must. Resource will be addressing software, hardware, infrastructure, configuration, and environment integration for mission critical vendor products; designing, implementing, integrating and supporting variety of mid-frame and PC operating systems and ancillary products; extensive "hands-on" experience with specific environments and integration relationships to related products. Skills Required: - Email Archiving utilizing EMC Xtender or SourceOne - REQUIRED - Certification in Lotus Domino Administration, Lotus Notes Domino Development, and/or related Messaging Technology. - 5 years experience in network LAN/WAN systems, network design and analysis, project planning and computer systems, or its equivalent. - Extensive experience supporting a large (15,000 + users) Lotus Notes environment. - Extensive experience in the development life cycle from test and cycle to production of a Lotus Notes/Domino application promotion process. - Extensive experience with Lotus Notes/Domino administration and connections to foreign/external systems. - Extensive experience in identifying Unix/AIX and MS server performance tuning and monitoring for a Notes/Domino infrastructure. - Experience in a 24 X 7 environment. - Experience with application security and roles are required. - Ability to troubleshoot, research, diagnose and resolve critical application issues quickly is required. - Experience with collaboration tools such as SameTime, QuickPlace(QuickR), and Lotus Notes out-of-the-box solutions. - Experience with Notes/Domino messaging tools and 3rd party products for messaging.
