Explanation for Position: Need replacement for senior lead technical resource on Siebel application currently engaged in Upgrade from 7.5.3.15 to 8.1.1.2. Resource needs to be independent and take full responsibility for Deployment effort to global workforce including 7000remote users. Deployment is across multiple business entities with different right setc and uses Tivoli push, Siebel Anywhere, pre-staging of vanila srf, deploying delta sfr as final srf, etc. The resource should be capable of working on their own independently. Resource needs to have advanced experience and understanding ofSiebel Technical Architecture in a Windows environment with heavy emphasis on the Siebel Remote Architecture. Full knowledge of Siebel remote components required. Any experience with UPS support teams is a plus. Fluent verbal English skills are required. Details of Position: Advanced experience and understanding of Siebel Technical Architecture in a Windows environment with heavy emphasis on the Siebel Remote Architecture. Full knowledge of Siebel remote components required (diagnosing router backlogs, merger issues, database extracts, etc.); Experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Siebel servers (Enterprise, Server, SWSE, Gateway, File System) in a Windows Environment; Proficient with Siebel Remote Client, Siebel Tools, and Siebel Client Synch (Siebel to Outlook) installation, troubleshooting, and configuration. Advanced knowledge of the Siebel Anywhere component including delta srf creation and deployment; Knowledge of the Oracle Universal Installer (OUI) pertaining to Siebel-specific installs; Demonstrated experience deploying Siebel upgrades. Experience authoring technical procedures, test scripts and installation documents for user base as well as support groups; Siebel 8.1 functional knowledge a plus. Management Skills: Excellent communication skills are a prerequisite. Resource should be capable of communication with management and business partners as well as technical resources. Also must have documentation skills. Fluent verbal English skills are required.
