Term: 6 month contract Location: San Diego Qualifications: MCSE, GCWN, or RHCE required. Strong technical skills for enterprise SOA application and server technology analysis and engineering required. Significant experience in operating and interpreting scan results from Nessus, Rapid7, or AppScan in a business environment. Significant experience in operating and interpreting the output of Wireshark in a business environment helpful. Experience in testing security controls and documenting test outcomes in a business environment required. Must be able to effectively communicate (verbal and written) requirements and test results. Experience with Tibco, AquaLogic Service Bus, or WebLogic Integration preferred. Experience with Cisco Application XML Gateway preferred. Responsibilities: Assist in the development of project requirements to include requirements for security controls. Assist in the development of designs to ensure that required security controls are accommodated. Assist in system/application/network construction to ensure that controls are effectively implemented, and that any design changes effectively accomplish required security control objectives. Test the effectiveness of information security controls. Analyze test results. Report on the effectiveness of tested controls. Provide recommendations for additional or modified controls where deficiencies exist.
