Reply to <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] Role: .NET Build Engineer Location: PA Responsibilities: Assist the Build Manager with the following tasks: Manage the build, release, and configuration management of multiple .NET applications throughout the software development lifecycle. Manage daily releases of all application and database schema modifications to nine testing environments. Design and own the build/release scripts (Perl and NAnt) Apply daily data modification releases to production environment. Manage the release of weekly production support code modifications to production environment. Manage the release of major bi-quarterly project releases to the production environment. Administer the Perforce source code management system and Seapine TestTrack issue tracking system Help analyze and fix any build or release issues that arise in any managed environment Work with the development team to help produce well organized release instructions along with insuring proper use of the source control and build tools. Work with the Database and Infrastructure teams to insure successful application of changes to the managed environments. Work with the Quality Assurance team to provide a stable product and to insure the proper approvals for all software releases have been received. Document and distribute the processes and tools for the build/release workflow. Provide release notes to the entire Managed Investments team for any production release. Qualifications: Experience administering source control tools Perforce experience is a plus. Experience administering issue tracking systems Seapine TestTrack experience is a plus.
