See detail below Design, develop, and deliver calculation module(s), including required documentation and testing procedures. Work in close co-operation with other application developers, business analysts and QA personals to: (a) Understand functional requirements; (b) Assist in design of the solution in team environment; (c) Develop/Implement solution in a agreed timeframe. (d) Validate new/existing code against coding standards and perform required unit, integration and functional testing. (e) Diagnose, debug and fix defects and/or performance issues in new/existing code. Solid understanding of OO design and development 5 - 9 years of core server side Java / J2SE programming experience. Good understanding of relational database; Exposure to Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server is preferred. Ability to write DB stored procedures Comfortable working on both Windows and LINUX. Requires excellent verbal (English) and written communication skills are a MUST. Ability to architect designs and clearly articulate such designs on paper for development cycles using UML. Working knowledge of XML and XML based technologies. Sound knowledge of Collections, exposure to Web application development, JDBC, Hibernate, Spring, XML, Multi threading , Junit, and familiarity with common design patterns and MVC Familiarity with technologies like SOAP, Web Services is highly desirable. Familiarity with source control systems like SourceSafe, Perforce etc. Development in the Eclipse IDE environment highly desirable. Ability and willingness to learn supported business functions, tools and technologies. Highly motivated person who is willing to take responsibility and ownership of the assigned tasks.
