*Position :* .NET Developer *Location :* Midtown,NY *Duration :* 6+ Months *Job Description : * * .Net Developer* • Mid- Senior (6-10 years) level very strong developer in MS technologies, .NET Framework 3.0/3.5, C#, LINQ, WPF, WCF and SQL Server 2005 /2008 database • Some VSTO development experience will be required • This candidate will be involved with systems development and maintenance for all business areas, initially for a suite of front-office systems • Candidate must be comfortable with working in multitasking environment with demanding users who expect things to be delivered "yesterday" • Interacting with traders to gather/understand requirements; designing, developing, testing and maintaining robust, efficient mid-size but complex applications will be the nature of the job. • Good verbal/written communication skills required *Business: * • General financial industry experience required *Technical Expertise: * • Comprehensive understanding and working experience in MS .NET 2.0, 3.0/3.5 technologies (at least 4-5 years of .NET experience) required • Advance level .NET 3.0/3.5 technologies ( WPF, LINQ, WCF) is required • Strong SQL Server 2005/2008 design/development expertise is required • Some VSTO (at least 1-2 year) and VBA development experience is required for Excel • Some experience with VS Team System is desirable *Compensation:* Commensurate with expertise and experience.
