Oracle PL/SQL Database Developers (3 openings) 3+ month contract Irving,
TX. Start ASAP.
1. Must live in Dallas - Fort Worth area
2. Must have a verifiable Bachelor's OR GRADUATE degree from a US school
3. Must be able to pass a credit check
Job Summary:
** Performs all tasks related to the full life-cycle development of
software for internal and client use. This includes planning, analyzing
requirements, designing solutions, developing code and testing software.
** Development skills must include knowledge and experience in PL/SQL, SQL.
Oracle 10g development experience is required.
** Provides technical support to Clients, internal and external, to answer
questions, solve problems and provide guidance.
** Works according to approved statements of requirements and detailed
specifications. Creates technical design documents, codes and unit tests all
deliverables. Works with the Quality Assurance group to support their
testing efforts.
** Recognizes probable interactions of other related programs with the
assigned programs and is familiar with related system software and computer
equipment.
** Resolves problems and deviations according to standard practices, and
obtains advice where precedents are unclear or not available.
** Applies judgment in devising program logic and in selecting and adapting
standard programming procedures.
Works independently under defined objectives, priorities, and deadlines.
Technical Requirements:
** This position requires 4 years of full life-cycle development
experience.
** SQL and PL/SQL programming required
** Oracle 10g required, 11g plus
