Working as part of a team to develop, test and maintain multi-tier applications using Microsoft's .Net Framework, the candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills on the developer position: 2. Competence in web technologies within enterprise solutions 3. Proficiency in developing Web applications, Windows Forms applications and Web Services using both C# and VB.NET 4. Practical Knowledge of implementing the complete Software Development Life Cycle 5. Capture business requirements and translate business challenges into technical solutions. 6. Ability to identify and advocate new technologies within the web development team, attends design reviews and provide value-added feedback and insight. RESPONSIBILITIES:: 1. As a part of an application development team, the candidate will be responsible for the following: 2. Design, develop, unit test, implement and document application. 3. Assist in requirements and design sessions including functional and technical requirement analysis, system analysis and workflow design. 4. Code and test program modules that meet design specifications 5. Ability to work contract for a 6 month to 1 year period. COMPETENCIES REQUIRED: The candidate should have the following competencies at a minimum: 1. Over 2 years of IT Experience in Developing web applications, smart client applications and system software development. 2. Over 2 years of development experience in .NET framework (v1.1 and v2.0), Visual Studio.NET (2005), ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB .NET 3. Working knowledge of PL/SQL coding and database architecture for Oracle 10g or any RDBMS database 4. Experience in the complete system development life cycle (SDLC) of multiple enterprise-wide web based applications 5. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft .NET architecture best practices and Object Oriented Programming concepts 6. Should be a good team player with strong independent abilities, abilities to guide, lead, and adapt new skills, and optimistic and energetic personality that can both work well with others and independently. 7. Good communication skills (verbal and written) REQUIRED SKILLS:: Languages: ASP, C# v1.1 and v2.0, VB.NET v1.1 and v2.0, ASP.NET v1.1 and v2.0, HTML, Oracle PL/SQL, ActionScript 3.0, Javascript, Windows Forms, Web Services Databases: Oracle 10g (or any RDBMS database), Microsoft Access Testing tools: LoadRunner, NUnit, NunitASP, Application Center Test Design Tools: Enterprise Architect 2.0, Microsoft Visio 2003, UML designing IDE: Visual Studio 2005, Visual Studio 2003, Benthic, Toad, Flash 8.0 DESIRED EDUCATION: At least 2 years hands-on experience in application and software development to support business applications NOTE: Need to know number of years of .Net experience.
