Job : AIX Systems Administrator
Location : Clark's Summit, PA
Duration : LONG TERM
Rate : $42/hr c-c (no flexibility)
We have an immediate opening for 2 AIX Administrators
Project Overview:
Work with team of UNIX administrators in highly technical environment,
providing 24x7 supports for approximately 2200 UNIX operating systems in 2 Data
Centers. Predominately AIX, with varied levels of virtualization.
MINIMUM SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
a.. UNIX systems administrator {AIX /SUN operating systems}
b.. Minimum 5 years of experience in UNIX systems operations and
administration
c.. Strong AIX operating system skills,
d.. HACMP technology and administration
e.. Knowledge of SAN storage management
Hardware platform experience
a.. IBM pSeries, including Power 5 and Power 6, running AIX 5.x/6.x.
b.. Installation, configuration and maintenance of AIX UNIX operating systems
and associated component/tools.
c.. Expertise in AIX OS, with strong knowledge and practice in HACMP
clustering, network configurations, partition and virtualization technology.
d.. Experience with VIOS, HMC, MPIO, NPIV, Virtualization and partition
mobility.
e.. Needs to have strong knowledge and practice on SAN, EMC, XIV, etc.
f.. Linux knowledge desirable.
