Deliverables: criteria/results by which success can be measured:
Requesting a contractor to fullfill a tech lead role supporting the
delivery of internal enterprise applications.
The resource should have a well-rounded application development skillset,
including the following :
- analyzing business requirements developing design specifications
- application design, data modeling and detailed component design
- coding and code review
Experience with the following technologies:
- Oracle database development - ASP.Net and C# development
- Web, IIS, Windows and networking technologies
This is a multi-hat position in a very dynamic environment.
Qualified candidates will be required to demonstrate the following
qualifications:
- Assist in the implementation and migration of vendor-delivered solutions
- Ensure that Source Control policies and procedures are followed for
vendor delivered source code
- Assist in troubleshooting issues with new and existing software
- Create detailed design artifacts
- Act as technical lead for project/application team members onshore and
offshore
- Act as single point of contact for the Project Manager or project team for
escalation or follow-thru of application deliverables
- Create detailed designs and ensure alignment with Macro Design -
Application and Database performance analysis and tuning
- Validate adherence to standards (e.g. coding specs)
- Evaluate impact of new technologies or functionality on existing
applications - Provide task input to project plans
- Ensure delivery of standard documents for other contractors engaged on new
projects
Technical Knowledge: NET;APPLICATIONS;Active Server
Pages(ASP);Internet-Web;Java Script;Oracle;SQL Server;VB Script;Visual
Studio;Web Designer;WEB_PROGRAMMER;XML/XSL People Management: Provide
technical support and coaching to team members Strong command of English
