*Job Title: Quality Engineer {White-Box Test in Java with JUnit}*
*Location: Santa Clara CA*

*Job Description*
* Focus on test framework/harness design, development and execution for unit
testing of Java J2EE applications with many different web containers
utilizing *Java and JUnit*
* Develop tools (Java) for performance monitoring of network services,
databases (VLDB - 25TB+) and applications within large-scale Linux/Free-BSD
(Clustered) environments
* Analyze and assess complex SQL database data structures, integrity,
content, and test DB deployment/replication processes, as well as, stored
procedures & triggers
Qualifications for Success:
* 2+ years of expertise in *Java development* or hands-on *white box
experience with Java Unit Tests
** *API/Web Services Automation testing* experience including working
experience with unit test automation frameworks.
* Significant experience with Unit Test design (Mock Objects, Re-factoring)
and execution with JUnit including Java syntax, class, method, exception
testing and error-handling expertise
* Familiarity with *Java IDE tool such as Eclipse with JUnit*
* 2+ years with the design, development and testing of complex queries (SQL,
Pl/SQL) and data retrieval (Stored Procedures, Triggers) from very large
OLAP/OLTP relational databases or data marts/warehouses (Oracle, Teradata,
MySQL).
* Working knowledge of code coverage tools, code optimization strategies,
algorithms and data-sets for high performing enterprise applications
* 2+ years within a Linux/UNIX environment with Hands-on experience in
*back-end
testing* of Linux/Unix based applications and systems
* Customer-focused, ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work
with teams and ability to multi-task on multiple products and projects
* Excellent communication, collaboration, analytic and problem solving
skills
Preferred Qualifications:
* Build and Configuration Management exposure with Maven, Ant, Subversion,
CVS, Perforce, etc.
* 1+ years of DBA or DB Development experience with Oracle 10g/9i/8i –
Pl/SQL, Linux/RAC environments for Very Large Databases (VLDB - 2TB+)
* Experience with web containers, frameworks and techniques including;
JBoss, Hibernate, OC4J, SWING and AJAX.
