Below position is an urgent, kindly forward your updated resume ASAP <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] Title: Java Architect Location: Morris vile, NC Duration: 3 - 6+ Months Overall Responsibilities This role involves the ownership of the design and development of various Java workstreams. The responsibilities of this work are listed below. Functional Responsibilities Design, develop and support applications written using JSP/JMS/Weblogic/Core Java/Design Pattern/ J2EE technologies Act as technical architect for new functional enhancements Provide recommendations and design approaches to improve stability & performance of existing functions Assume technical ownership for the direction and stability of the platform Provide technical guidance for more junior team members Liaise with Dev managers, business analysts and project managers in Credit Suisse India, Singapore, New York, Raleigh and London offices to understand business requirements and propose efficient & effective technical approaches. Maintain responsibility for successful Unit Testing (including: integration, stress, regression, migration). Own and / or contribute to the technical code documentation. Report project progress in both team meetings and using bug and enhancement track software such as Quality Centre. Keep project managers, dev leads and BA's appraised of known issues, mitigation / solutions and progress. Qualifications Essential BS / BA in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, MIS or Mathematics Some experience working within the Financial sector. 5 years of JSP/JMS/Weblogic/Core Java/Design Pattern/ J2EE knowledge and working experience along with some degree of Database knowledge (DBMS) preferable Sybase/Oracle and MSSQL. - Proven experience leading technical teams and / or serving as Technical Architect Desirable Business Objects reporting and universe creation. Some knowledge of ASP / XML / XSL is a plus. Unix / scripting knowledge also a bonus. Understanding of the Client Relationship Manager Software (CRM) would be desirable.
