Note : Financial exp is NOT required but is a plus Interview Process: phone screen and then face to face is required Java developer with data warehouse and BI reporting (Business Objects, Actuate) experience Job Requirements Below are the must have technical skills and responsibilities: • 5+ years of hands-on development experience in Java • 3+ years of hands-on development experience in J2EE Application Server, EJB, Hibernate, Spring MVC, Struts, JSP, JSF, Servlets and Portlets. • Experience with MAVEN 2 is a plus. • Minimum of 5 years of SQL experience • 3+ years of hands-on development experience in Data Warehousing technologies and ETL processing, especially using shell scripts, Java and XML; understanding of Data Warehousing concepts. • Experience with data modeling tools such as ERWin, Business Objects, Actuate and DataStage is a plus. • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail Day to day responsibilities will include • Develop quality programs/scripts/procedures/components in support of the business requirement, utilizing the appropriate technology for each instance, and following the group standards and/or industry best practices as applicable • Participate in design discussions and produce quality design artifacts. • Perform unit and system testing on technical components to ensure they meet business requirements. Testing will include those elements developed by individual, team members, or other technology groups. • Communicate effectively with management, providing timely status and project reports as required.
