Very negative about short engagements - if last few engagements were 3-5
months, the resume will be rejected.
We know that consulting engagements can be short-term but please look for
candidates that have engagements of at least a year in their recent history
Candidates must also have the strong DB skills and strong understanding of
database structure to be able "to interface to the back-end data."
Candidate will need to interface with users and understand business rules so
good communication skills will be important.

Required Skills/Experience (Skills that the successful candidate(s) must
have)
The typical candidate must be able to work with a team to analyze, design,
develop and integrate applications to support a work management system.
The assignment requires the candidate to have a strong technical background
along with the ability to perform business analysis and write effective
documentation and specifications. The candidate will be expected to perform
business analysis, technical analysis, project planning, systems design,
application software programming, and development of user / project
management documentation. Some typical skills required are:
. SQL Server, complex SQL queries, and DTS
. Visual Studio, JavaScript, VBScript, and Visual Basic
. Web design and development with IIS/ASP
. Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP) programming
. Microsoft SQL-Server programming
. Oracle database knowledge
. Microsoft Project
. GUI Screen Design
Additional Skills (Skills that are a plus, but not required)
Technical Writing Skills
Virtual environment knowledge
