*Description:*
The role is Programmer Analyst working in Engineering; the person will be
responsible for software application design and development. The tasks
include computer programming, software engineering, application maintenance
and support.
*Key Deliverables (i.e. Outcome)* **
§ Work with product lines to implement support tools across internal lines
and Managed Objects and other related tools. **
§ Enhance existing tools to ensure scalability across lines as well as
meeting each product lines requirements. **

*Additional duties and responsibilities* **
§ Apply problem-solving skills in tackling real-world software issues. This
can involve code review, application testing, trouble shooting and
diagnosis. **
§ Collaborate with team members to jointly come up with the best solutions
for the task at hand.**

*Must have:* **
§ Bachelors degree in Computer Science or its equivalent **
§ Strong application development and software engineering skills **
§ Can do attitude; desire to learn new technologies and to apply
state-of-the-art techniques to build production grade, Enterprise class
software systems **
§ Strong written and oral communication
**
* **Specific technical qualifications:*
§ Microsoft .NET (C#, WCF) and/or Web development (ASP.NET, Web Services,
JavaScript, Silver light)
§ Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux platforms
§ Familiarity with Sybase and Oracle; PL / SQL
*Desirable qualifications:*
§ Experience working in a team practicing Agile / Scrum methodology
§ Java, J2EE
§ Various scripting languages e.g. Perl, shell, etc
§ Experience with industry recognized monitoring frameworks; BMC, Tivoli,
NetIQ
§ Knowledge of the ITIL framework
