NO H1's ROLE: Oracle Database Architect Location: Harrisburg, PA RESPONSIBILITIES: Candidate will lead a team of six Oracle DBA's supporting multiple applications database designs and implementations. The candidate will be required to manage tasks within his/her team, serve as the primary point of contact for the clients' database division chief and staff, verify database designs meet client standards and industry best practices and are scalable and easy to maintain. Additionally, the candidate will need to have expert database code tuning skills and have the 'consultant' skills necessary to effectively interface with client management and project staff on a daily basis. REQUIRED: Expert level Oracle database administration, database design, database architecture and data modeling skills (OLTP and Dimensional Modeling). Including: RAC, Data Guard, Grid Control, ASM, ADDM/AWR Analysis, Oracle Streams, Performance Tuning and backup/recovery concepts. PREFERRED: Working knowledge of MS SQL and Microsoft .Net architecture EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree or commensurate operational experience.
