QA Analyst project in VA - Java code tester
I have direct client (Retail company) located near Roanoke, VA with the following open QA Analyst role. The initial duration will be 4-5 months and the rate cap is $38.00/hour. Here’s the specs:
Role: The project involves data passing between an AS400 iseries system and Oracle’s Retek system using either MQ messaging or Datastage. There will be several JAVA programs inserted in the middle to track information flowing between the two systems or to allow upload to the Oracle system.
Responsibilities: Testing JAVA code. Responsible for writing a test plan using the functional and technical design documents, reviewing and updating test scripts provided by the developer from unit testing, and actual hands on testing of the deliverables. This person will also be involved with assembly and integration testing with the Oracle team.
Qualified candidate MUST have previous experience working in Retail domain background.
