Skills: Network architecture N-tier architecture * Storage architecture System architecture * Note from the hiring manager: "Infrastructure Architects must answer many diverse technical questions during interview. Experience with IBM Websphere Application Server, Red Hat Linux, Oracle 10g/11g RAC, Cisco networking, or EMC storage will be considered before all others" Summary: Ensure that the IT assets of an organization are supported by an infrastructure architecture that supports the organization in achieving its strategic goal. Typically has an Associates degree with previous experience in infrastructure engineering. The technical skills include the ability to write architecture documents and test plans. Education/Experience o Associates degree in computer programming or relevant field required.
