Description of Contractor Duties:
One Source is a Vignette based J2EE content management content
management application for capturing, managing, and distributing
content related to WDW’s products and services. As a member of the One
Source production support team, the resource will assist team with the
development of the service layer for the One Source system,
establishing the best practices for SOA architecture, development and
deployments, participating in hands-on design and development to
support and extend the One Source system, coordinating and
implementing infrastructure modifications as needed, and helping to
drive continuous improvement in the performance and stability of the
application.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: (These are the minimum qualifications you
need to be considered for the job.)
Deep understanding of Web Services software architectural and design
issues
Core competencies in Java, XML, HTTP, Web Services, and SOAP
Strong knowledge of modern design patterns and architectural
paradigms, refactoring and loosely coupled and abstracted software
elements
6+ years of experience in Java development for large-scale enterprise
systems
Working experience with JAVA Frameworks (Hibernate, Spring)
Strong abilities in: JSP, JAVA, XML, XHTML, AJAX, XML, RSS, ATOM,
Flash, Oracle database, Apache, and Unix
Administrative experiences in Application Servers (Web Sphere, Web
logic etc).
BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years experience in developing applications in the Mobile
Technologies.
Architecting scalable websites, application tuning, building to
standards, and system automation.
SOA and other formal software architecture methodologies.
Experience with Vignette Content Management System, Interwoven, or
Documentum
Experience with IBM Visual Age/Java, Web sphere 4.0 or higher
Experience with Oracle, MQ Series
