* ** Mid/Senior-level C++ developer with experience in server-side C++
application development*

· *Will be a member of clients market gateways team in Chicago,
responsible for development and maintenance of all gateways for * *Exchanges
in the Americas region.*
· *Will quickly take on a responsibility developing exchange
connections (both order routing and market data) in a challenging *
· *Environment where customers expect very high performance and
where the volume of data is growing very rapidly.*
· *Work will involve a mix of major projects, functional
enhancements, performance tuning, and bug fixes.*

* Technical Requirements:*
* *
· *Higher Technical Education (B.S. in Computer Science, Financial
Markets, or related field preferred)*
· *Minimum 3 years development experience with C++*
· *Solid theoretical and practical knowledge of multi-threaded and
object-oriented development*
· *Experience developing complex software systems with high demands
on quality, reliability and performance*
· *Intermediate/expert Linux knowledge (Solaris knowledge also a
plus)*
· *Experience with client/server architectures (focus on server-side
development)*
· *Agile development processes (Scrum experience a plus)*
· *Test Driven Development (TDD)*
· *Good knowledge of all aspects of the software development value
chain*
· *from requirements analysis through to releasing working software
to customers*
· *Experience with derivatives trading systems (especially market
connectivity) a strong plus*
