The job details are given below. .Net/C# Developer with ASP & VB Location: NYC, NY Length: 9+ months Job Description: Currently have TWO openings with in a major e commerce company located in NYC. There is ONE CONTRACT (LONG TERM) opening and one PERMANANT OPENING. Client is looking for a C# Developer with ASP & VB coming out of an ecommerce environment. (Located in New York, NY) Client is seeking .Net / C# Developers who will be involved in design, develop and support of multiple e-commerce web sites. Primary responsibilities will include: . Design, develop, and implement .NET applications in a high-volume transaction-oriented web production environment. . Liaise with various IT and business departments, both within the US and internationally; collaborate in an international team environment. . Apply expert level knowledge of Microsoft tools and technologies; quickly learn and utilize new tools and technologies, and transfer knowledge to team members. . Mentor and develop Junior engineers. Requirements: . 3-5 years experience designing and developing software applications utilizing .Net Technologies. . Should have technical expertise with C#, <http://ASP.NET> ASP.NET, <http://VB.NET> VB.NET(COM and COM+). . Should have strong XML & XSL experience. . UML & WCF Experience is required. . Must have strong SQL Server 2000 Database experience. . Client is looking for someone with Microsoft Certification in .NET Applications. . Candidate must have prior e-commerce experience. . Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or a closely related field . Good communication skills. . Fluency in French is a big plus.
