Position : J2EE Architect Location: COLUMBIA, South Carolina Duration: 1 Year Rate : Open Job Description: Consultative expertise in establishing specifications of complex development environments. Extensive experience in the establishment of enterprise development environment. Proven understanding of all aspects of SDLC in heterogeneous environments. Extensive J2EE Development Experience· Extensive knowledge of Enterprise Java application servers and environment. Working knowledge of JDBC connectivity from Application server to Microsoft SQL Server databases. Experience in configuration management, including continuous build/integration, testing lifecycle and application deployment, versioning and automated rollback. Working knowledge of SSL. Must have significant experience in J2EE application deployment.· Proven ability to deliver high-quality results. Experience in the development of project documentation (functional specifications, technical specifications, test plans, etc.), Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills (with all levels of the organization) and a very good command of the English language. Ability to work with diverse groups and work within the team environment. Ability to communicate complex ideas and subjects accurately, clearly and concisely. Ability to transfer knowledge to developers and functional teams· Proven organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to build and maintain partnerships within different business units. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, complete important time sensitive tasks, adapt quickly to last minute changes and manage multiple projects Job Description: § Responsible for the overall design of the enterprise wide data/information architecture, which maps to the enterprise architecture and balances the need for access against security and performance requirements. § Knowledgeable in most aspects of designing and constructing data architectures, operational data stores, and data marts. § Focuses on enterprise wide data modeling and database design. § Defines data/information architecture standards, policies and procedures for the organization, structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements, and applies accepted data content standards to technology projects. § Facilitates consistent business analysis, data acquisition and access analysis and design, § Database Management Systems optimization, archiving and recovery strategy, load strategy design and implementation, security and change management at the enterprise level.
