Primary Skill Sets:
Desired Skill Set: ·
In-depth knowledge and understanding of network components and protocols
- SIP, SS7, SDP, MGCP, Diameter, and IMS Network Infrastructure
(troubleshooting and tracing SIP messages)
· In-depth knowledge of the Soft switches (Broadsoft is a plus)
· Working knowledge of Session Border Controllers (ACME packet is a plus)
· Working knowledge of PBX's and IAD devices is a plus
· Experience with functionality, system and regression testing (manual and
automated)
· Familiar with HP Quality Center functionalities
· Good Analytical skills, including the ability to analyze failed issues and
associated implications
General responsibilities:
Work Activities Deliverables Planning
§ Review business & technical requirements and detailed designs
§ Contribute to PE QA strategic statement of work (SSOW) and work plan (with
high-level dates and tasks) to be integrated with the overall project plan
§ PE QA SSOW
§ PE QA Traceability Matrix Preparation
§ Develop test cases and expected results in HPQC
§ Create test data (as needed)
§ Stage test environment (as needed)
§ PE QA Test Cases Execution
§ Execute planned PE QA test cases
§ Participate in defect remediation activities
§ Publish testing results § Test Results Support
§ Develop and maintain HPQC issues log from PE QA
§ Support the development team with fixes and issue resolution
§ Issues/Defect Log
§ Weekly Status
