This position is a contract position in Creve Coeur, MO. All candidates must be LOCAL! This is a contract for 6 months.
*Essential Day-to-Day Responsibilities* · Participating in project planning sessions with team members to analyze Thomson Reuters Development requirements. · Providing design recommendations, developing and integrating programs per written specifications. · Translating business and technical requirements into detailed design specifications for application code and modules. · Preparing and presenting status updates for project work. · Making moderate to complex modifications to existing software applications and modules in accordance with written specifications and industry standards. · Developing software application modules using disciplined software development processes. · Unit testing and implementing application modules from multiple systems the team has developed or modified, ensuring application meets needs of client and business. · Identifies ways to improve the operation of own area and to achieve efficiencies and results. · Sets timeframes and schedules to meet customer and business needs. · Interacts with others to gather and exchange information, and to meet business needs.
