Location: Murray Hill, NJ Duration: 6 months A pharmaceutical company, located in Murray Hill, NJ, is seeking Senior Business Intelligence / Ascential DataStage / and ETL Analyst to develop and support applications software for all users of their client's systems within a team environment that integrates technical and user expertise as well as Divisional and Corporate objectives. The team focus will be on strategic information delivery to provide clients with a competitive advantage in the market place. *Description * · Analyze, design, build, test, document, and implement extracts, transforms, and loads across platforms using the Ascential DataStage ETL tool · Identify and correct problems in complex test and production environments · Manage time and work effectively on multiple high priority tasks and projects · Translate business processes and requirements into solutions with reasonable estimates · Work with a team in the creation of new applications using Ascential for the ETL process as well as MicroStrategy for the end user presentation · Analyze specifications for completeness and accuracy · Finalize project and system documentation · Test all modules to ensure quality · Assist and train users · Work with a team to define requirements for maintenance to existing applications · Work within team structure · Keep up-to-date with our client's technology *Technical Requirements* · Associate's degree or equivalent work experience (a Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred) · 5 years of direct application development experience · 2 years of project leadership experience · Knowledge of Ascential DataStage · Knowledge of MicroStrategy · Knowledge of Narrowcast Server, MicroStrategy Office, and Report Services (preferred) · Knowledge of Oracle · Knowledge of Desktop Productivity Tools (Microsoft Office) · Strong analytical skills · Clear understanding of data warehouse and business concepts · 3+ years of development experience utilizing Oracle databases, IBM Ascential DataStage, and SQL · Experience with multi-platform environments and multiple warehouse tools including, but not limited to: Ascential DataStage, XML and SQL Thanks and Regards S.Vishnu Recruiter CES Group ( www.cesltd.com, www.decatrend.com ) 235 Remington Blvd , #H, Bolingbrook, IL 60440 Phone: 630-296-8718 [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "KNOW.IT" group.
