API’s experience

Tasks

   Development of Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures to serve as foundation

   web service components in a larger Service Oriented Architecture and

   integration effort. Including, but not limited to develop and unit test

   CRUD procedures to call standard Oracle APIs for Order, Item, etc.

   Develop web service integrations using Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)

   related design patterns and approaches.



Skills

      Required and Expert: Oracle eBusiness Suite experience, particularly

      the public APIs, PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, and knowledge of the

      underlying tables/data. We're currently on version 11.5.10.

      Required and Expert: experience creating integrations using

      Enterprise Service Bus for service virtualization, protocol bridging,

      name & addressing, intelligent routing, data transformation, etc.

      Expertise with WS* standards (WSDL, SOAP, WS-Addressing, WS-Reliable

      Messaging, etc) and RESTful design patterns (key gap on my team I'm

      trying to close), XSLT technologies for transformation, XML/XSD for

      message schema, and the Eclipse IDE.

      Required and Proficient: Oracle PHP Zend Community Edition and the

      Zend application framework particularly the PHPUnit testing

      capability within Zend (key gap on my team), LAMP stack in general

      (Linux Redhat and CentOS, MySQL). SVN for code management/version

      control.

      Optional: specific experience with Enterprise Service Bus

      architecture and products, e.g., TIBCO, Oracle ESB, Mulesoft and

      other open source ESB's



Technical Environment

   The Oracle eBusiness Suite (11.5.10) is the core application that

      underlies our Campaign to Cash processes and our main B2C eCommerce

      site.

   Several minisites based on LAMP stack

   Potential for external Ecommerce systems (ATG, Sterling, etc) and cloud

   based applications (Salesforce.com)

   Potential for handheld and other end user devices (iPad, Android,

   iPhone, etc.)

   Microsoft Active Directory for employee data, Lotus Notes LDAP for email

   Federated ID Management Architecture with other client offices

   outside the US (piloting Ping Identity solutions currently)
