We have urgent requirement for QA Analyst If you have any consultant, plz help SEND RESUMES TO [email protected] Title : QA Analyst Location : Chicago IL Duration : 6 months+ Job Description : Need candidates who are available for a *face to face*Minimum 7 years of IT work experience. Testing background and expertise with test tools (TSO, File-Aid, capture/playback, Mercury Interactive) TS software knowledge helpful. Work toward certifications including: CSQE or CSQA preferred, professional test tool certification (Mercury, Rational, Compuware) Required Qualifications: * Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Software QA/Test Analyst; minimum experience of 2 years of test automation * Strong proficiency in SQL and solid experience creating SQL queries * Strong analytical skills * Strong team-oriented interpersonal and communication skills to cultivate positive working relationships Required Experience: * Good understanding of testing methodologies and the SDLC as a whole * Analyzing business and/or functional requirement documents * Estimating testing effort, analysis of change and initiating the scheduling of QA tasks and dependencies * Creating System Test Plans, Test Cases and Test Data * Creating/updating test cases based on new/updated functional requirements * Creating test data conditions to test functional requirements * Conducting System, Regression and Integration testing * Logging and tracking issues across the SDLC * Providing reporting on testing results Candidates must also: * Possess excellent written and oral communication skills * Be proficient in MS Word, Excel, MS Access, PowerPoint and Outlook * Have the ability to work within a team, and if needed, independently Desired Qualifications: * Qualifications in Computer science or related field * Exposure to Cognos Toolset, ETL tools, Unix, Oracle 10g, TOAD * Exposure to XML language * Knowledge or exposure to RUP methodology * Exposure or experience using Rational Clear Case, Clear Quest and HP Quality Center; experience with RIA Tool is also preferred Creation of Test Cases, Test Data and Expected Results Execution of test cases Automation of test cases Logging and management of test defects Status reporting -- Regards Shiny Vijayan Amtex Systems Inc.
