Title : BPR Project Manager

Location : Owings Mills, MD

Type: 6+ months contract.



Develop plans for business process improvements for benefit contract/benefit
guide generation and related documentation workflow; coordinate resources;
lead and/or participate in the implementation of improvement initiatives.
Conduct process analysis activities to include interviewing, observing, and
timing of operational tasks for current state and future state. Analyze
existing tasks, processes, methods, metrics, and reporting used to perform
all functions and recommend appropriate business process improvements.
Identify risks and possible issues. Develop and present possible solutions
or alternatives. Develop tracking mechanisms, establish and monitor goals
for turnaround times. Communicate approved process changes to all
appropriate personnel. Manage and communicate a clear vision of future state
and motivates the SMEs, technicians and other staff to implement planned
changes.

A high degree of initiative and independent judgment is required.

Flexibility and the ability to work under time constraints, adapt to
shifting priorities, to work independently as well as part of a team are
required.

Excellent process engineering/improvement skills including but not limited
to process modeling, cost/benefit analysis, risk assessment, work plan
development and management.

The incumbent must have a passion for innovation and finding a better way to
do business.

The incumbent must have excellent analytical skills, strong organizational,
coordination skills and interpersonal skills for facilitating.

The incumbent must have effective presentation, negotiation and influencing
skills to interface with all levels of management and employees at all
levels throughout the organization.

The incumbent must have a highly developed sense of integrity and commitment
to operational excellence.

The incumbent must have the ability to think logically and creatively in
order to identify and resolve problems.

The incumbent must have the ability to create innovative solution options;
understand multiple ideas, develop consensus and develop and/or research
information from diverse sources.

The incumbent must have the ability to address and balance the concerns of
different constituencies.

Knowledge of health benefit products preferred, knowledge of contract
generation process preferred, possible temp to perm as manager of this
function/dept.
