*Logs all incoming work, and records sufficient information to facilitate
effective incident, problem, or request processing.
Identifies the impact, urgency, and priority of incidents, problems, and
requests.
Provides initial support for incidents and requests.
Escalates incidents, problems, and requests that cannot be resolved by the
service desk to the appropriate Service Delivery team, and monitor progress.

Communicates the status of all open incidents, problems, and requests.
Serves as the first point of contact for all incidents, problems, and
requests.

Investigates and diagnose the incidents and problems according to their
effects, and identify the resolution or error.
Raises Requests for Change (RFCs) to resolve errors and prevent the
recurrence of problems.
Monitors the progress on the resolution of errors.
Assists the Incident Management team in handling major incidents, and
identify the root causes.

Assists in resolving issues that affect release scope, quality, schedule,
budget, and resources.
Makes sure the release work product adhere to unit standards.
Makes sure the release documentation (including user guides, reference
materials and administrator guides) are updated based on release changes.
Develops and manages release communications, including release scope,
status, issues, feedback mechanisms, and release deployment.
Develops and maintains the release’s Communications Plans.
