Detail Job Description:
Will be involved with data quality programs and initiatives dealing
with all aspects of subscriber data, revenue assurance, and equipment data
and data from partner data exchanges. The emphasis will be on data
completeness, validity, consistency, timeliness, and accuracy. Must have the
t ability to handle several major projects simultaneously.
. Must have exceedingly strong communication skills.
. Work with business stakeholders, application developers, and business
intelligence team to identify potential data anomalies and at-risk
processes.
. Research data anomalies in complex business systems, develop analyses and
audit reports, provide reports and recommendations for correction of data,
and develop business and technical processes to ensure data integrity.
. Provide data management quality assurance through routine check-ups of
pre-existing data fixes and audit reports.
. Formulate and actively develop test cases, test scripts, and output report
specifications for data remediation projects.
Requirements:
. Strong analytics skills.
. SQL skills and experience with a procedural/object-oriented programming
language (Visual Basic, Perl, PL/SQL, Java, etc.). Experience with reporting
tools such as Cognos and Hyperion Essbase a plus.
. Experience with business process modeling (UML, Visio, etc.)
. Excellent communication skills, and ability to interact appropriately with
business users, technical staff, senior level colleagues.
. Be decisive and assertive and show initiative in problem-solving.
. Experience in a high-volume subscription-based or data-intensive business
is a plus
. Strong analytics skills. High-level skills with Excel (descriptive
statistics, Solver/Goal Seek, pivot tables, etc.) and Visio.
