*ROLE: *Business Analyst *(with SACWIS experience*)

*DURATION: *6 months

*LOCATION:* Indianapolis, Indiana



*DESCRIPTION: *

·          System functional design, technical design, and quality assurance
experience with a Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System
(SACWIS).  Strong understanding of SACWIS functionality.  Knowledgeable of
data structures and data relationships within SACWIS application
systems.  Knowledgeable
of child welfare business, policies, procedures, and practices.

·          Understanding of full software development life cycle and
associated documentation including business needs analysis, system analysis,
functional design, technical design, development, testing, and production
system support.  Strong experience with business needs analysis, system
analysis, and functional design.  Experience with software testing and
troubleshooting, including creating test scripts and performing functional
testing, system testing, and regression testing.



·          Strong experience creating and maintaining software development
and maintenance documentation.  Expertise with visual design and
representation within documentation.  Ability to read and interpret
technical manuals and documentation.  Ability to interpret and understand
verbal communication pertaining to software system development and
maintenance.  Ability to develop technical system diagrams.



·          Excellent oral and written communication skills.  Possess strong
listening skills.  Ability to communicate and interact with Child Welfare
staff and system development staff to research, analyze, gather information,
and create software system documentation.  Ability to write in a clear and
concise manner and able to convey information appropriately for a variety of
audiences.  Ability to develop, maintain, track, and organize software
system documents.



·          Experience with software support and internal customer
support.  Experienced
in providing production system support and solving daily production issues
for SACWIS environment.  Ability to plan work tasks and projects.  Strong
analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.  Effective
communication with technical and non-technical personnel.



·          Ability to research technical issues, problems, procedures, and
methods and advise management.  Provides functional and technical expertise
and input on projects.


·          Experience using the Expert Support Program (ESP), Rational
ClearQuest, or similar call tracking and defect tracking software.  Experience
with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Word, Excel, Access, Visio,
Project, and SharePoint.
