Title: Technical Project Manager Location: Chicago, IL Duration: 6 months+ PMP Certification along with DotNet & SAP experience is a must. Job Description: Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project. May require a bachelor's degree and at least 2 - 4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Job Description: A Project Manager is needed to support the Off line Planning tool development. 2 base tools have been delivered (Sales Planning tool and Forecasting) and additional development to enhance the 2 tools will continue for the duration of 2010. The tool is being developed in the Dot Net framework utilizing SQL server database. In addition a consolidated database will be developed to centrally store the data from both systems. This individual will be responsible for successfully managing these development efforts and providing status to management on how the project is tracking to plan.
