Hi UNIX/LINUX Admin Location: Houston, TX Length: 6 months Rate: 50/HR all inclusive Area: Investment Bank Global Management The candidate will join the Investment Bank Production Management team in support of Rates, Currencies, and Commodities line of business. The candidate will also work very closely with the Application Operate & Development teams, to implement UNIX controls as part of the 2010 IB UNIX Remediation Program, and to ensure compliance with established IT architectural and operational standards procedures. The 2010 UNIX Remediation Program focuses on UNIX access control, recertification, privileged access and individual accountability. The scope for this project includes assessment and deletion of stagnant user and functional accounts in NIS, NIS+, and KEON. The second part of the deliverable includes installation of KEON client across 200+ Solaris and Linux servers. Deliverables: · Install and configure KEON on Solaris and Linux platforms (200+ servers) · Implement UNIX controls across 600+ servers, which include, but not limited to below: 1. Remediate permissions and account issues 2. Configure sudo rules 3. Onboard privileged accounts to breakglass programs 4. Remediate stagnant accounts Experience: · 6+ yrs UNIX/Linux administration, with experience in NIS, NIS+ and KEON · KEON administration highly desirable · Project or technical lead highly desirable Other requirements: · Good communication skills · Project management skills desirable · Weekend work highly probable I Appreciate your immediate response.
