Job Title:- Ruby on Rails Developer
Location:- Redwood City, CA
Rate:- 85\hr on 1099
Requirements:
9+years experience in developing high-performance web applications
(some of which
preferably in an on-demand SaaS enabled environment)
. 4+ years Ruby on Rails full time production development experience
. Expert knowledge of Rails, Ruby, JRuby, Java, SQL.
. Familiarity with browser technologies (XML, XSLT, DHTML,
JavaScript, JSON, CSS, DOM)
. Ability to leverage bleeding-edge, state-of-the-art web
technologies.
. An eye for design and layout.
. Desire to work in a agile, highly iterative manner building quick
prototypes
and seeking feedback in informal demo sessions
. Desire to interact with the open-source Rails and Flex communities
to explore new
and upcoming technologies.
. Understanding of SQL and object oriented design.
. Proven track record of problem solving skills.
. Excellent oral and written communication
