*Duration:          3-6 months*



Other team responsibilities include:
Taking part in a 24x7 on call support rotation
Provide guidance to tier 1 for successful issue resolution, troubleshooting,
and procedure implementation for daily activities
Create and update procedure documentation for tier 1 and 2
Server as escalation point for issues from tier 1 to assure timely and
reliable resolution
Perform change management activities to review tier 1 and 2 changes to
ensure compliance with required controls
Participate in on-call rotation providing support for tier 1 escalations,
and management of the applications supported below



The Platform Services Windows Administration team is looking for a highly
motivated, customer service oriented individual to help support  VMWare ESX
infrastructure. The desired candidate will have A working knowledge of
ESX/ESXi 3.5 and 4.0, including installation, configuration tuning and
troubleshooting with understanding components including VMWare vCenter 4.0,
Update Manager, Converter, Heartbeat, VCB, View, and Site Recovery Manager
products. Understanding of Powershell (PowerCLI) and/or Perl (vSphereCLI)
scripting environments for automation experience with non-VMware
virtualization technologies is a plus.

The team you would be joining includes subject matter experts supporting
Active Directory, Microsoft clustered server solutions including SQL and
print clusters and VMware virtualization platform with responsibilities of
infrastructure design, maintenance, and monitoring of systems for these
