*Job Description:*



The Project Manager role will include the following activities:

·       Manage projects ensuring project deliverables are brought in on
time, within budget and quality targets

·       Influence and contribute to successful change including new ways of
doing business

·       Contribute to the change vision and strategy by modeling the
required behaviors

·       Ensure proper change and release management for successful
production implementations

·       Adhere to corporate project governance standards

·       Responsible for hiring project staff, and developing motivating,
coaching, advising and managing the project team

·       Conduct feasibility studies, develop and establish  business cases

·       Provide input into and manage the project budget

·       Effectively communicate with project sponsor and key stakeholders

·       Liaison between project team, project sponsor and business

·       Manage multiple project resources across business unit

·       Manage vendors within defined contract parameters

·       Ensure adherence to quality standards

·       Evaluate and ensure appropriate systems development and project
management processes are being utilized.

·       Ongoing management of project schedules, resources, and related
financials

·       Facilitate the identification and  resolution of project issues

·       Manage project related risks

·       Lead geographically and culturally diverse cross-functional teams



*Knowledge/Skills:*

·                     Experience working in an Asset Management environment,
with exposure to business functions and systems supporting Trading,
Portfolio Management, Securities Operations, Performance Measurement &
Attribution, Client Reporting.

·                     Knowledge of industry compliance and regulatory
requirements

·                     Highly developed presentation and communication skills

·                     Ability to work independently as well as part of a
team in an international setting

·                     Presents ideas clearly, manage the integration of new
technologies, and influence individuals across business boundaries to
achieve objective

·                     Sound knowledge of project management tools,
techniques, and systems development methodologies

·                     Strong organization, communication and problem solving
skills

·                     Strong influencing and negotiation skills

·                     Ensure that the necessary technical and subject matter
skills are included within the project team and utilized appropriately

·                     Presentation skills geared to audience

·                     Build and maintain cross-departmental relationships to
attain collaborative solutions

·                     Proven coaching, motivation and staff development
skills

·                     Identify and manage resources and costs to the plan

·                     Working knowledge of systems development and technical
environments

·                     Strong presentation skills

·                     Awareness and understanding of cultural diversity

·                     Ability to partner and collaborate for win-win
solutions

·                     Effective influence and negotiation skills

·                     Effectively utilize multi-media technology for
engaging virtual teams

·                     Ability to maintain a balance of confidence and

*Key Challenges & Problems:*

·       Identifying when projects appear to be deviating from plan or
objectives and raising issues and proposed solutions with management

·       Help allocate and prioritize resources across departmental
boundaries

·       Negotiating across Business Units in a multi-stakeholder environment
with differing interests

·       Accessing new technologies/processes and evaluate the risks and
benefits to the project

*Education/Experience*

·         PMP Certification (or near completion)

·         5–8 yrs project management, IS business systems analysis,
development and/or consulting experience

·         Previous experience successfully managing structured projects
