We currently have a *6 Months* *Contract *opportunity for a *Tester* with our client located in *Houston, TX*. *Job Description:* · Test Automation experience/exposure to Squish or Squish for Qt · Good at pearl scripting · Proficient if test automation concepts and framework development Job Summary · Supplement team efforts to develop our test automation framework and develop automated test procedures using Squish. · Provide technical expertise in Qt applications automated testing. Provide accurate estimates and reports of test progress. Essential Functions · Develop the test automation framework · Write and implement new automated tests procedures · Report test results and enters problems and issues into the bug database · Monitors and updates bug reports as needed including bug report closure · Configures necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing · Provides technical expertise on specific products, operating systems and specialized environments Qualifications · Sufficient knowledge/experience working with Microsoft and Linux-based operating systems · Knowledge working with Squish toolset or equivalent · Experience with testing Qt based applications · Familiarity with testing methodologies and defect reporting processes Please email your MS Word resume to *[email protected]* and include the completed skills-matrix in the body of your email.
