It's for a migration. Here's the crux of it. 20% on site for the first
couple of weeks, then remote with an occasional trip to Rochester, NY.
1) Ensure C2C jobs have been tested and are successfully running
2) Export (JIL) jobs out of r11 Development and import (JIL) into production
3) Monitor job stream to ensure there are no failures.
4) Ensure access levels into r11 are fully tested and validated
5) Training has been provided to the necessary support staff
(developers/operations/etc)
The above tasks (not including training) can be done in a few days of
onsite/offsite work.
*For the r11 migration from 4.0*, CA recommends that company perform the
following tasks:
1) Define and implement security policies
2) If company has no current monitoring and notification infrastructure,
install embedded Event Management
3) Setup monitoring and notification of AutoSys Processes and jobs
4) Define a migration strategy to move the remaining jobs in 4.0 over to R11
which should include
- All agents that need to be upgraded
- Task list of the tasks needed to migrate the jobs (who does what
and when)
- Test plan once the migration has occurred
- List of the migrations to be migrated (if not done all at once)
