QTP/Automated Engineer
Job Description:
*Most important skill: must be able to code QTP from scratch with VB scripts
* Create test cases for regression automation using Quick Test Pro
* Ensure that test cases written are automatable using QTP
* Administration of Automated Test Framework.
* Analyze output generated from automated tests
* Communicate issues or defects to management team on a timely basis
* Evaluate and qualify testing products on a myriad of technology
components.
* Provide technical support to help resolve testing customers'
product-related problems/issues.
* Help serve as a technical expert resolving critical and complex issues.
* Provide technical direction and expertise to testing groups and/or
departments.
* Participate in peer reviews of software requirements, design and test
procedures *
Find solutions and initiate testing changes proactively in a proactive
manner.
* Apply knowledge to multiple areas of the products and functional teams.
* Identify, log and track system defects to be remediated
* Ensure product adherence to Enterprise product adoption standards.
* Comply with HIPAA, Diversity Principles, Corporate Integrity, Compliance
Program policies and other applicable corporate and departmental policies.
* Maintain complete confidentiality of company business.
* Maintain communication with management regarding development within areas
of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or
requested.
* Experience with requirements based testing and industry standard life
cycle development Additional Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
* Bachelor Degree in Computer Science with 4 years of testing and/or
programming experience OR 6 years of testing and/or programming experience.
* Experience utilizing Regression Tools: QTP (Quick Test Pro)
* Database testing knowledge, especially Microsoft SQLServer and OR ACLE.
