BPM technologies include Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and Business Process Execution Language (BPEL), as well as Java, XML, XSLT and web services. IBM, Oracle and SAP sell BPM systems as part of their middleware stacks, as well as a bunch of niche vendors.
