Hi… Let me know if you have any consultant for the below position. *Location: NY* *Duration: 3 months with likely extension* *Max Rate: $50/hr* * * *Data Modeler Job Description The Data Analyst/Modeler will analyze business requirements, perform the necessary analysis to translate them to data requirements, develop enterprise data models at the conceptual, logical, and physical levels; identify and promote best practices and patterns for data modeling, and provide oversight for data modeling methodologies and processes. Responsibilities include - Analyze and translate business requirements into data models - including definition of logical and physical models, model enhancements, metadata maintenance. - Interface with business analysts and application developers across multiple business domains including credit and market risk management - Create and evolve models for counterparties, financial instruments, positions and exposures, to meet new and changing business requirements - Perform complex data analysis and recognize patterns to help with Data Modeling or R&D projects with quick time-to-market requirements - Manage flow of information between departments through the use of relational databases. - Focus on reducing process and data inefficiencies such as reducing data redundancy within an existing system or optimizing load and query performance.
