Minimum 7+ years experience in the following areas:
Business Objects Architect/Developer to develop new Business Object Universes and integrate Universes with existing applications.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience using Business Objects version XI R2 in a UNIX environment to provide project support including analysis, design, and development for report generation.
Must have very strong database skills. We use both Teradata and DB2 databases.
· Expertise in Business Objects Universe design and development is required.
· Able to customize SQL within Business Objects reports
· Experience using Business Objects with DB2 database - experience with migrating reports from development to test and then to production is required.
· Participation as a development team member in projects requiring extensive data analysis skills and data migration tasks
Strong SQL and relational database skills with applicable experience is required
· Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
· Ability to integrate the Business Objects suite of applications with existing software applications.
· Understanding of the software development environment and related processes.
· Must be organized and detail-oriented.
· Must have a team player attitude.
Additional comments:
1. This requisition is for one (1) contracted Business Objects resource. Contract end date June 30, 2011. Contractor may not be required for the entire 11 month period.
2. Mastery of SQL is a must. Knowledge of System-i and DB2 is required.
3. The contractor will be designated to report and universe design, coding, testing and documentation for several internal initiatives spanning multiple active projects.
Focus will be on Pickup Database Initiatives in support of tactical Pickup/CPC business reports to be completed mid September and transition to Pickup Database Release 2 historical reporting in EDW.
