Client :-BCBS Rate:-$50 We are looking for a Tester for a 5+ month project with our client located in Chicago, IL. Job Description: . 4 - 6 years of testing experience . Ability to determine which types of existing manual test cases are automatable, which types are not, and then be able to explain why . Experience with Automated testing methodologies, manual test case creation for automated purposes, and general requirements decomposition for test automation is a must . Experience with scripting automation tools like Winrunner, Silktest, and QTP . Clear and concise verbal, written and interpersonal skills including the ability to work in teams . Analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with initiative and accountability . Knowledge of testing methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle . Experience with requirements review and manual test verification and results/metrics/KPI reporting or reporting software . Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish multiple tasks, both as part of a team and independently . Ability to manage time while working on multiple projects . Experience executing automated scripts using QTP, WinRunner, Selenium, Ruby and Quality Center . Experience debugging and executing WinRunner, QTP or Silktest scripts for regression testing is a plus (script creation experience is not a requirement, but is considered a plus) . Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements . Develop and execute automated test cases for both new and existing feature regression tests . Execute manual and automated test cases according to documented test plans . Verify accuracy of test results and document results . Document defects in defect tracking system . Perform re-tests to verify resolution of defects . Reproduce, investigate, and debug software issues .
