*Job Title : Storage Engineer* *Location : Pittsburgh, PA* *Duration : 6+ Months contract* RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide comprehensive designs for Storage platforms * Experience with Tiered Storage, Virtual Storage, Virtual Tape and Disaster Recovery strategies. * Implement systems/architectures and ensure system integrity with regards to security and compliance guidelines * Work closely with development, network and support teams in implementation of storage infrastructure components supporting emerging technologies and applications. * Respond to issue escalation and service interruption. * Prepare progress reports for projects ensuring issues are properly escalated and resolved to maintain delivery schedule, project cost, and desired results.
